Return to the labyrinth! (turn 2)

I own all about me: my body, my emotions, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or myself. I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears. I own my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes.

I'm a stranger to some, a friend to others. I'm someone's daughter, someone's mother, someone's birth mother, someone's sister. I'm someone's ex-girlfriend, the love of someone's life. I'm a student in life, a teacher of life. I'm creative instead of book smart. I am a deeply religious nonbeliever.

I am me, and I am okay.

I support a woman's right to choose, adoption, alternative lifestyles, body modification, feminism, following your heart, monogamous relationships, premarital sex, single parents, unorthodox religions, young parents.

Many believe that life without music is a mistake. Music is elective for me, I prefer silence. I'm oversensitive as it is, one pensive chorus can cause my heart to remember sadder times. So you see, for some, music preserves their sanity. But, for me, music promotes my insanity. All the same, there are exceptions to my aversion towards music. I love acoustic music, I love hearing new covers of old songs by new artists. I love listening to lullabies, with no intent of going to bed. I'm a fan of classical music, musicals, Asian musical trends, new age and ambient music, and movie and game soundtracks.

Some of my favorite music is: Five Finger Death Punch, A Fine Frenzy, Breaking Benjamin, Eisley, Elvis Presley, Evanescence, Fall Out Boy, Flobots, Flyleaf, Frank Sinatra, HIM, Hinder, Hollywood Undead, Iced Earth, Immortal Technique, Jem, Jewel, Johnny Cash, Kittie, KoRn, Lynard Skynard, Mae, Malice Mizer, Muck Sticky, Nickelback, Nine Inch Nails (NIN), Ozzy Osbourne, Panic! At The Disco, Paramore, Porcelain And The Tramps, Rammstein, Seether, Shinedown, Spice Girls, t.A.T.u., The Dresden Dolls, The Pierces, Three Days Grace, Type O Negative, Johann Sebastian Bach, Johannes Brahms, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. I support the local music scene in Memphis, TN. Some of my favorite local bands are: Joan Red, Prosevere, Waiting For Brantley, Goodbye Monroe, Shaved, Damage 19, Egypt Central.

I find myself wanting the products they sell on late night infomercials, despite the shameless exaggeration, the tasteless products, and the pure hokum dispensed by all those infomercials that clog up the late-night hour. Clever advertisements urging me to save 15% by a reptilian mascot with a Cockney accent, Bob's recurring inability to achieve or maintain an adequate erection. Design shows are uninteresting to me, makeover shows are too superficial, and reality TV is overrated and repetitive. You can find me watching... Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy, Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State and more.

I believe that all you need is love, and I believe on living on love. I’m not materialistic at all, I'm happy with very little. I love the idea of romance, I’m a very passionate and intense person. I believe that nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion.

I have tremendous hate for only one person in this world. It's his own fault that I hate him. When love is suppressed hate takes its place.

It's my opinion that I'm not as pretty as I look in my pictures. I'm neither vain nor am I modest. I've stopped judging myself based on the world's opinion of physical beauty. Overall, I'm happy about my appearance.

My least favorite flavor is orange (with the exceptions, Kool-aid and Dreamcicles). Strawberry is my favorite flavor of just about anything. But, I don't like strawberries. I don't like butter, sour cream, or onions. Everyone thinks that's weird.

I'm a huge perfectionist, it's both a blessing and a curse. "Perfectionism is a dangerous state of mind in an imperfect world." Robert Hillyer.

If I'm hungry, but there's nothing I want to eat in the house, I just won't eat.

I love rainbows, and rainbow colors. My least favorite colors are yellow and orange. I really just think they both should be removed from the rainbow all together.

I keep a composition book and a pen near me at all times to jot down random thoughts, ideas, lyrics to songs I wanna download, and anything I might forget.

I collect fonts, cute Happy Meal toys, children's books, ghost books, coloring pages, Care Bears, and anything that I find visually stimulating or pleasant

I hate dogs, I'm allergic to cats. Yet, our household has 2 cats and 2 dogs.

I smoke way too much, mostly out of boredom and I will only smoke menthol cigarettes.

I know how to sew, but never do. I wanna keep a journal, but I just can never motivate myself to sit down and write on a daily basis.

I make wishes at 11:11. I stay up way too late and still get up early.

I only sometimes ride with the windows down, because one of my biggest pet peeves is when my hair sticks to my lip-gloss.

I played soccer as a Freshman in high school. But, I really hate sports.

I don't like dark chocolate, unless it's Godiva. Too much chocolate makes me sick.

I hate all diet drinks except for diet Mountain Dew. I never drink water and I drink way too much Vanilla coke.

Feet are gross. Fish are gross too. I'm really bad at painting nails, I hate shaving my legs (I still do though), and I hate wearing skirts.

I hate talking on the phone too. Usually I won't answer if you call, your best bet in getting in touch with me would be to text me. But, I don't have a cell phone right now.

In my opinion tongue piercings are tacky and I only think tongue kissing is good, during sex. Clowns scare the hell out of me. I won't swim in deep, or dirty (unclear) water. I don't like being touched.

I choose anime as my anti-drug. Because, well when you're addicted to anime, how could you possibly afford drugs?

I abuse the internet constantly. I love the many resources, the treasure chest of knowledge. I love intimacy based on depth, intellect, and general mental cultivation. If you can see me without literally seeing me, and be only concerned with what is not so obvious, the parts of me that are neither secret nor in plain sight, that's wonderful.

I love to read, write, draw, and listen. I much prefer these to socializing because there is less room for deceit, manipulation, and the mutilation of hearts. I love reading poetry and quotations. I also love reading manga. Oxymorons are rich with absurdity and ludicrous fun, paraprosdokians are hysterical, philosophy is thought evoking. I find psychology hypnotic and sociology is a great tool in understanding humanity. I also like reading stories, proverbs, riddles, songs, folklore and lore alike, legends, fairy tales, creepy pasta. Madlibs and word searches are fun time killers.

Other hobbies include: Listening to music and audio books, collecting things that make me happy, dabbling in the unknown, daydreaming, downloading music and random things, solving jigsaw puzzles. Watching movies, TV series, Asian dramas and anime.

And of course playing with my kids.

Old school.
